Biography

Tamara Anderson, Ph.D., serves as the Senior Associate Provost at Biola University. Previous to her role in the Provost鈥檚 Office she was a tenured professor and administrator in Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University. In her 20+ years in the School of Psychology Dr. Anderson taught several courses with a particular speciality in Ethics. Her administrative roles included Director of Clinical Training, Director of the Doctoral Programs, Associate Dean, Dean of Administration, and Interim Dean. Dr. Anderson has been active on the board of Div. II, Education and Training of the California Psychological Association (CPA) as well as serving several years on the CPA Ethics Committee. Dr. Anderson is a licensed psychologist and has a private practice in La Mirada, CA where she works with adults and couples.

In her current role Dr. Anderson oversees the Office of the Registrar, the Director of the Library, the Director of the Office of Academic Research and Grants and the Director and Office of Educational Effectiveness. Dr. Anderson also serves as the ALO for Biola University.
