Dr. Dan Martin鈥檚 teaching subjects focus on Occupational Therapy. He teaches courses on occupational performance, child development, therapeutic use of self, mental health, integrating evidence-based approaches and hands-on learning experiences (e.g., case scenarios and facilitating fieldwork placements).
Before his current academic role as an instructor and academic fieldwork coordinator, Dr. Dan Martin worked extensively with children and families across school-based, clinic and home health settings. His clinical expertise includes sensory regulation, behavior analysis and family-centered care.

Professor Ricciardi's teaching interests are in the field of Occupational Therapy. She has been an occupational therapist for almost 25 years working in numerous settings with all ages and in program development. She teaches courses in the M.S. in Occupational Therapy program focusing on preventative care and adult/geriatric populations. Prior to teaching, she was working in the area of functional medicine and occupational therapy as well as developing nutritional protocols to help with behaviors of children with autism and sensory processing disorders.
